The objective of this project is to
establish a statewide education and demonstration program
to encourage Missouri producers to adopt precision
agriculture practices that improve water resources.
Published three extension
bulletins on precision agriculture
Held two producer-oriented
conferences, held a training session for regional
extension staff for precision agriculture
education, conducted numerous small educational
meetings for producers, extension specialists,
and agency representatives.
Finished the second year of five
field demonstration plots located throughout
Missouri. In-season chlorophyll meter
measurements and root-zone water samples were
taken, as well as harvest yield data and fall
soil samples for residual nitrate.
