Current Programs
Integrated Crop Production - an interdisciplinary effort to address crop production issues of importance to commercial Missouri farmers.

Financial Management -an effort centering on using farm level information to make managerial decisions. The emphasis is on making decisions rather than keeping records. The process used is to help define the problem, determine the information necessary to answer the problem and then to analyze the alternatives in light of the goals of the business.

Risk Management - ongoing programming in the area of making decisions with imperfect knowledge and uncertain outcomes. Computerized scenario analysis and crop insurance purchase decisions are major components of the this work.

Special topics- I am working on the following special topics with faculty from other departments:
Manure management
Environmental impact of commercial agriculture
