The emphasis is on making decisions rather than keeping records. The process used is to help define the problem, determine the information necessary to answer the problem and then to analyze the alternatives in light of the goals of the business. Risk Management - ongoing programming in the area of making decisions with imperfect knowledge and uncertain outcomes.
